Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Mettasoft (“Mettasoft”, “we”, “us”) governing your access to and use of MettaFlow, including its websites, apps, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

MettaFlow is developed and operated by Mettasoft. It lets teams create projects, assign or pool tasks, track milestones, and collaborate. We may add, change, or remove features at any time to improve the Service.

MettaFlow is provided to you at no cost. There is no subscription and no fee required to create an account or use the Service's core features. If we ever introduce paid features in the future, they will be clearly identified as optional and will not change the free nature of the features you already use without your consent.

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.
• You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
• You may enable two-factor authentication (an authenticator app or email codes) to help protect your account.

To provide the Service, we collect and process a limited amount of information, including:

• Account details - your name, email address, and username.
• Content you create - projects, tasks, milestones, comments, and similar data you add to the Service.
• Usage information - basic technical data needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

We use this information to operate and maintain the Service, authenticate you, deliver notifications you have opted into, provide support, keep the Service secure, and improve it. We do not sell your personal information.

By creating an account, you agree that Mettasoft may contact you at the email address you provide. This includes:

• Service (transactional) emails - such as email verification, sign-in codes, password resets, and task/project notifications. These are part of using the Service.
• Product and promotional emails - occasional updates, announcements, tips, and promotions about MettaFlow and other Mettasoft products.

You can manage most notification emails from your Settings, and you may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time. We will still send essential Service emails required to operate your account.

You keep ownership of the content you create in MettaFlow. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you and your team. You are responsible for the content you add and for ensuring you have the rights to share it.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours, or disrupt the Service.
• Upload malware, spam, or content that infringes others' rights.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service, or resell it without our permission.

MettaFlow, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by Mettasoft and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the MettaFlow or Mettasoft names or logos except as needed to use the Service.

Because the Service is provided free of charge, it is offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Please keep your own copies of anything important (for example, your two-factor recovery codes).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mettasoft will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably need to protect the Service or other users. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Courts located in Tanzania will have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
